Garage Living Arkansas owner and operator Denton McDonald is an Arkansas native who was born and raised in Searcy. Dylan McDonald, Denton’s nephew, serves as the company’s general manager.
Denton holds an MBA in accounting from Harding University. He spent six years in the Marine Corps and received an honorable discharge in 1993.
After leaving the Marines, Denton became the vice president of international accounts for a company in the satellite and telecommunications industry. In 2005, he started a residential construction company and eventually opened Garage Doors of Central Arkansas in 2019. Denton noticed that most of his client’s garages needed better storage and organization systems and saw an opportunity to expand his range of garage improvement services.
Denton is married and has two kids, and he is the proud grandfather of four kids. In his personal time, Denton works as a football official and enjoys fishing and hunting.
