Poker, cowboys and a bull-riding champion — these are just some of the highlights that took place on October 6th during the fourth annual Mark Sutherland Invitational Texas Hold’em Poker Tournament.
Garage Living Calgary had the opportunity to attend this charity event and we can tell you with confidence that it was a blast! Not only does the poker tournament provide a good time, but it does so while raising money for Pacekids Programs, an organization that supports specialized programming for children with special needs.
The goal for this year’s event was to raise over 125,000 dollars for Pacekids Programs. Over 400,000 dollars has been raised during these last four tournaments.
Those who came to support the charity were not disappointed. Attendees, including Garage Living, had a fun-filled evening thanks to a variety of activities, prizes and celebrity guests who were included in the event. One of our favorite games involved “knocking out” the host cowboy. Mike Reiber, owner of Garage Living Calgary, was the first to knock out a cowboy! He took out Kirk Sutherland!

Mark Sutherland was not the only one giving out gifts. Garage Living, too, provided a prize! Congrats to the attendee, Jim, for winning the bid on our offer of a complete Garage Living makeover. Our designers look forward to remodeling and upgrading your garage space.
We have a Winner!
